Hiring: Senior Data Engineer (ETL & AWS)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in ETL development, AWS cloud services, and up-to-date data engineering practices to join a high-impact enterprise team.

Key Requirements

- 10+ years of Data Engineering and ETL experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS / IDMC
- Advanced SQL and RDBMS experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Strong Python development skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, Step Functions, and CloudWatch
- Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses
- Knowledge of Spark/PySpark for large-scale data processing
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, CloudFormation, and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of data governance,



security, metadata management, and data quality practices

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines
- Build batch and real-time data integration solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members
- Implement best practices for data engineering, testing, security, and deployment
- Support production environments and participate in on-call rotations when required
- AWS Certifications (Data Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc.) are highly desirable.
