We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Lead Server, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding customer service, guiding fellow servers, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Duties

- Lead and motivate a team of servers to deliver top-tier guest service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about food and beverages, and recommend specials or upselling opportunities
- Ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Oversee the setup, organization, and cleanliness of dining areas to promote a welcoming environment
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations, including Micros POS if applicable
- Train recent staff members on service procedures, food safety protocols, and restaurant policies
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Skills





- Extensive food service experience with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest services
- Proficiency with POS systems, including Toast POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and guest interactions
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering, billing, and upselling opportunities
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environment is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Capable of managing cash handling accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Hospitality-minded attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
