Job Overview

AF Cold Storage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating daily dock activity, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and carriers. This role requires strong communication skills and a keen ability to problem‑solving and resolve various operational challenges.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate inbound and outbound appointments.
- Oversee daily dock activities for efficient loading and unloading.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Address inventory discrepancies, carrier delays, and logistical challenges.
- Organize repairs and maintenance for warehouse equipment.
- Manage and maintain records of shipments and receipts.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and safety.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and managers for smooth operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Adhere to health, safety,



and food safety standards.
- Perform additional tasks as needed for efficient operations.

Qualifications

- Post‑secondary education.
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination or similar roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving and attention to detail capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with HACCP and CFIA regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as required.
