Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our warehouse operations, transportation providers, and customers, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and efficient logistics processes. Your proactive approach will help optimize warehouse distribution, manage transportation systems, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate order processing, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and AS400 platforms to track shipments, manage inventory levels, and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to support materials management, purchasing, and demand planning initiatives.
- Assist with freight arrangements, 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, and pricing negotiations to optimize transportation costs.
- Conduct data analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for shipping, packaging, and order fulfillment workflows.
- Support warehouse experience tasks such as order picking,



materials handling with forklift certification if applicable, and packaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving logs, inventory movements, and process documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as SAP or Oracle), and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret logistics metrics and identify trends for process improvement.
- Knowledge of procurement practices, sourcing strategies, demand planning, and freight management.
- Hands-on experience with materials management tools like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset; ability to collaborate across departments effectively.
