Duties

- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs across hotel facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
- Support the troubleshooting and repair of equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems to maintain building operations
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule preventive maintenance
- Perform welding and basic fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment and fixtures
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Assist in inspecting facilities for potential issues, including electrical systems, HVAC units, and structural components




- Support leadership in supervising junior staff or contractors during specific projects or repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy

Qualifications

- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with schematics are highly desirable
- Hands-on welding experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing or building systems
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or CMMS software is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English for explicit reporting and teamwork
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience is beneficial for supporting team coordination
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities maintenance
