CO-OP Intern assisting with day to day Maintenance activities

Instrumentation Co-Op

- Shadow the technician during installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instrumentation, including:
- Pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters
- Control valves, positioners, and final control elements
- Safety‑related instrumentation (alarms, shutdown devices)

- Assist troubleshooting of instrument issues using diagnostic equipment and software tools.
- Assist with loop checks, functional testing, and documentation updates.
- Help maintain accurate instrument records

Analyzers

- Shadow senior technicians in maintaining online analyzers such as:
- Gas chromatographs
- Oxygen/combustion analyzers
- pH,



conductivity, and other continuous process analyzers

- Assist with sample system upkeep, filter changes, gas bottles, and routine verification checks.
- Help with calibration gases, analyzer diagnostics, and system reliability improvements.

General Duties

- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and permit‑to‑work processes.
- Follow strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and hazard identification.
- Oversee small projects, instrumentation upgrades, and documentation revisions.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel.
- Learn and apply company safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
- Must be able to work at heights
