In this pivotal role, we seek a manager to steer a cross-functional team through our transformative shift toward a cloud-first strategy. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of services and technologies, presenting you with a unique opportunity to leave a lasting impact as we advance and refine these initiatives.Minimum Requirements:

- Computer Science degree, or Technical College diploma

- 10 years IT operations and / or IT project execution experience including a minimum of five years leading / managing teams

- Expertise in leading a cloud team with strong experience in successfully transitioning large enterprises to a cloud first strategy

- Extensive expertise in public and private cloud environments, IT infrastructure operations (server/workload, storage/data protection, networks), and various cloud service models

- Proven expertise in horizontal leadership, influencing skills, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve unified outcomes and performance excellence

Responsibilities:

- Lead a cross-functional team in establishing cloud frameworks, negotiating consistent contractual standards,



and reporting on operational performance, ROI, and value

- Drive the development of Cloud Services-specific policies and processes, actively monitor their effectiveness, and champion continuous improvement efforts

- Monitor and support the evolution of cloud adoption through effective engagement with IT Projects, IT Operations, and key business stakeholders

- Mature cloud services through the use of automation, best practices or other means to enhance reliability, assure cybersecurity and optimize costs.

Location and other Key Details:

- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W

- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday

- Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
