At Fresh St. Market's Meat Department, we provide a broad variety of fresh, high quality products with a strong emphasis on local and specialty items designed to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. We assist customers with any inquiry, package meat products, replenish display cases and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.

Reporting to the Department Leaders, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Job Overview

- Bring a positive attitude every day
- Packaging meat products
- Daily placement of merchandise to make it available to customers
- Carrying out stock rotation
- Assisting in the preparation of orders
- Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors
- Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
- Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Leaders

Street Credentials
- You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities
- You are highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision
- You possess strong customer service skills
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You work well with others in a high-pressure environment




- Previous work experience is a plus but not required. If you are willing to learn, we are eager to train you with the skills you need to succeed
- You can work on your feet up to 8 hours in a day
- Can lift, push or pull up to a maximum of 40 lbs
- You have a valid work authorization (i.e., work permit, student permit, PR) in Canada

The Fine Print: Upon hire, new employees will be placed in a starting rate between the minimum and P50 (midpoint) of the wage range. The P50 of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position. In some circumstances, the new employee may be eligible for compensation beyond the P50 of the salary range. Factors that influence this decision include full job knowledge, qualifications, internal equity, and experience in a similar role.
