The stage has been set for Women's to accelerate our priorities and capture the momentum to catapult our system forward to revolutionize healthcare for everyone.Applicants must reside and be legally eligible to work in Ontario.This is a Regular Full-Time position replacement.An exciting opportunity as a Senior Strategic Human Resources Business Partner - Strategic Operations,exists in ourTalent Acquisition, Employee & Labour Relations department.Summary of Duties, but not limited to:In collaboration with the HR and management team, responsible for designing a comprehensive workforce plan which encompasses short and long-term strategies and goalsLeads various HR projects within subspecialty areas: HR strategic operationsGenerate research activities to build an understanding of talent needs versus capacityIdentify gaps and opportunities to and implement strategies to implement, improve and optimize the Human Resource Information Systems applicationsAligns strategic people and equity initiatives with corporate plans through effective project management and communicationSupport Employee/Labour Relationships with various initiatives such as investigations and restorative relationship initiativesActs as a business partner with program areas to provide HR analysis, communicate risk areas and work with the program managers to identify risk mitigationConducts monthly reoccurring meetings with clients to attend to any needs relating to HR operational and planning activitiesEffective administration, interpretation and application of Collective Agreements and Hospital policies, guidelines and directivesHandles grievance and dispute resolution management, including representing the Hospital at mediations and partnering with legal counsel on matters proceeding to arbitration; escalates to the Manager, Human Resources as necessarySupports return to work process with Occupational Health and Safety, and the employee to finalize return to work plans,



including modified plansProvides ongoing updates and support to projects in line with legislation changes, business trends, external and internal changesAct as an SME and provide value added advice to leadership and staff on various policies and procedures as they relate to different areas of HRLeads and/or participates in the development and implementation of HR programs that aim to increase employee engagement and WCH's brand recognitionPartners with HR management to develop and execute various HR solutions that support strategic objectives. Ensuring alignment with the overall Hospital culture, mission, values, and strategic planDevelop detailed project plans and schedules for various department initiatives based on approved objectives and deliverables; communicates project changes, challenges, and status updates to stakeholdersMonitors, tracks, and evaluates the progress and adherence to project milestones, timelines, and resource allocationCreates communication and promotional activities and materials in line with initiativesSupport and lead special projects within the HR departmentAs a role model and champion, you will work to identify and integrate safe, best practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary care.The responsibilities described above are representative and are not to be construed as all-inclusive.QualificationsBusiness Administration, Human Resources or related undergraduate degree requiredCHRL/CHRP or equivalent designation requiredMaster's degree in industrial/Labour Relations, Human Resources or relevant study an assetMinimum seven (7) years' experience as an HR professional in a unionized workplaceHealth care or broader public sector experience in HR preferredExpert knowledge and experience with HR practices and principles including provincial legislation (Human Rights, Employment Standards, AODA, Health and Safety), Collective Agreement administration and the ability to effectively interpret and apply accordinglyStrong Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint working knowledgeStrong mentorship and relationship management skills with experience in partnering, influencing, coaching and building credibility with leaders and the HR teamStrong change management skills with demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change within the operationStrong business acumen and issue resolution skills with the ability to deal with situations in an open, objective and flexible mannerouExperience in leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance recruitment,
