Position: Simulation/CAE-heavy mechanical engineering Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $80 - $100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

- Provide detailed walkthroughs of AI coding agents in mechanical engineering simulation and CAE tasks.
- Demonstrate real-world applications of AI agents for navigating large codebases and debugging issues.
- Describe engineering problems addressed using AI-generated code sequences.
- Contribute feedback on AI tools' performance within the CAE and mechanical simulation domain.
- Curate examples illustrating advanced technical workflows involving AI agents.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and communicate effectively.

Requirements





- Extensive hands-on experience in simulation and CAE-heavy mechanical engineering assignments.
- Proficiency with Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork as coding sequence generators.
- Ability to apply AI agents to sophisticated engineering challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for translating technical workflows.
- Experience documenting technical workflows and providing actionable insights.
