The Opportunity

Rightway Recruitment is representing a well-established mechanical contractor with a strong presence in the Lower Mainland construction market. Specializing in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, the company delivers large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across Metro Vancouver.

With several significant projects underway and additional work scheduled to commence in the coming months, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of major developments from the ground up, working closely with site teams, consultants, subtrades, and ownership groups to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage mechanical projects from planning through closeout
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with consultants, general contractors, subtrades, and internal teams
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved
- Support project forecasting, reporting, and cost control
- Lead project teams through all phases of construction

What You Bring

- 5+ years of project management experience within mechanical construction
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building systems
- Experience delivering multi-family or mixed-use construction projects
- Excellent organizational and communication skills




- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel between project sites

Technical Assets

- Experience with ProjectSight or similar project management software
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Exposure to CAD, Revit, and BIM environments
- Understanding of modern coordination and virtual construction processes

Working Setting

- Site-based role with project office located on-site
- Hybrid flexibility depending on project requirements
- Solid collaboration with field operations, BIM teams, and leadership

Compensation & Benefits

- $120,000 – $150,000 salary depending on experience
