Position Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and proactive Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our clinic team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will help create a positive and welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

In this role, you will provide a blend of administrative, reception, scheduling, and clinical support, working closely with physicians, patients, and fellow team members to deliver high-quality, efficient care. The ideal candidate is an experienced medical office professional who thrives in a rapid-paced environment, communicates with empathy and professionalism, and is committed to making a meaningful difference in the patient experience. What you will be doing:

- Administration and Reception: Managing front desk duties,



answering phones, registering patients, scanning documents, completing billing and maintaining office supplies.
- Scheduling and Communication: Booking and confirming appointments, coordinating referrals, and acting as the liaison between patients and physicians.
- Clinical Support: Preparing exam rooms, cleaning instruments, taking patient measurements (e.g., blood pressure, temperature)

You have:

- Proficiency with medical office software, EMR systems, and office equipment.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English to interact with patients and staff.
- Organizational skills, ability to multitask, compassion, and professional demeanor.
- Understanding of medical terminology and health records management.
- Knowledge of Accuro EMR program an asset
- 2+ years of MOA experience required
- Results oriented – Operates with urgency to constantly improve and grow the business.
- Morally strong – Will operate and provide the highest level of integrity in all actions

The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
