Senior Designer, Development (Electrical)Id: 21048Type: Full-TimeRange: $90,000 – $140,000The Senior Designer, Development (Electrical) will be a key contributor to product development teams, responsible for designing and delivering robust, safe, and reliable electrical systems – from concept through validation and release to manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand design requirements including business needs, customer discussions, internal standards, and industry regulationsResolve technical problems such as conflicting requirements, system reliability, cost constraints, and manufacturability challengesMitigate risks through failure mode analysis, risk assessment, design adjustments, and validation test planningDesign and deliver complete electrical sub‐systems for automated machinerySize and protect power systemsSelect and size servo systems3‐D model electrical equipment and cables on the machine, and in cabinetsParticipate in validation testing and incorporate lessons learned into future designsParticipate in team design reviews and verify design documentation before releasePrepare manufacturing documentation: bills of materials, assembly drawings, cable fabrication drawings, wire preparation schedules, and work instructionsSupport assembly, testing, and installation, refining designs based on lessons learnedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringSkilled in performing and validating electrical design calculationsExperience solving technical problems,
