Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and problem-solving skills are highly valued. The Mechanic will play a crucial part in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.

This position is to be on the road in Alberta 28 on 10 off rotation*

Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems
- Collaborate with team members to schedule repairs with minimal disruption to operations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations




- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times

Experience

- Proven experience as a mechanic with construction equipment preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Level 4 (Red Seal) preferred but not necessary.
- Experience with Heavy Duty equipment

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
