About the Role

HealthOPM is currently recruiting compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join a welcoming retirement community in the Huron County (Goderich area). This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality, resident-centred care while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing the health, comfort, and well-being of seniors.

Location: Huron County, Ontario (Goderich Area)

Pay: $32.00–$34.00/hour

Schedule: Full time, Part-Time & Casual Opportunities Available

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Standards of Practice.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions as prescribed.
- Assess, monitor, document, and communicate changes in residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional health.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Respond promptly and effectively to resident concerns, changes in condition, and emergency situations.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Personal Support Workers (PSWs) while promoting quality resident care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies, infection prevention and control (IPAC), and health and safety standards.




- Foster positive relationships through effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (issued within the past 12 months).
- Current TB screening/clearance.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous experience in a retirement community, long-term care, or seniors' care setting is considered an asset.
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.
