Drive safety excellence as an Occupational Safety Specialist at Ford of Canada. This role focuses on compliance, risk mitigation, and fostering a zero-incident culture across plants. As part of Ford's Occupational Health and Safety Engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating plant-wide safety processes and emergency response planning.
Utilize your expertise to conduct daily safety inspections, manage investigations, and implement training programs that enhance workplace safety. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safety inspections and investigations
- Implement the Safety Operating System (SOS)
across plants
- Deliver training programs on workplace safety
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and corporate safety teams
- Analyze hazards and recommend preventive measures Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field
- 3-5 years of occupational safety experience
- Certified Safety Qualified preferred
- Experience in automotive industry is a plus
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Enhance safety standards and contribute to workplace health as a valued member of Ford of Canada.
