LITTLE KIDS CLUB OF ROYAL VISTA is a new Early Learning and Childcare Centre located in Calgary's NW. website: littlekidsclub.ca

We are building our team which includes On-Call (Casual) Early Childhood Educators.

We are seeking dedicated and flexible On Call Early Childhood Educators to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality childcare for children 19 months to Kindergarten within two groups (19 months to 4 years) and (4 years+). The On-Call may be required to be in ratio with either age group, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidates will be adaptable, possess solid communication skills, and have a passion for early childhood development.

Little Kids Club of Royal Vista supports children's development and early learning by using a blended curriculum comprised of practices from Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive supervision and care for children
- Build responsive, and respectful relationships with every child through engagement and supportive practices.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that learning and development through play.
- While in ratio, ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the group
- Communicate effectively with children, parents,



and team members to ensure a positive experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute educational activities and routines.
- Provide a program for children guided by LKCRV’s philosophy and policies.
- Uphold all licensing regulations and organizational policies related to childcare
- Work collaboratively with all members of the LKCV team

Experience and Requirements

- AB ECE Certification of Level 1, 2, or 3- Required
- Criminal Record Check dated within 6 months of hiring or able to immediately apply- Required
- Prior experience as an Educator in a licensed group childcare settings is required
- Knowledge of Reggio Emilia and/or Montessori practices is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of AB Early Learning and Child Care Act and Regulation
- Experience with a program for children ages 19 months to 6 years- Required

Shifts

- Hours of Operation: 6:30am to 5:30 pm
- Shifts will be within the Hours of Operation between 3 to 8 hours per daily shift. Breaks are scheduled in each shift over 4 hours.
- Hours of work are based on needs of the program. There are no guaranteed hours or shifts.

Wage shown is without Govt Funding. Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
