Overview

Mountain View Optometry is searching for someone to assist us in providing comprehensive eye care to the village of Nakusp. The ideal candidate would be interested in working approximately 2 days/week with increasing job responsibilities as their knowledge and experience grows.

Responsibilities

- Reception: taking payments, and running insurance
- Patient care: pre-testing, assisting the optometrist with exams, and data entry
- Optical sales: lens measurements, frame adjustments, and providing product information

Qualifications

- At least 5 years experience working in customer or health service
- Previous experience in medical or optical setting is preferred
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful work environment and exceptional customer service
- Interest in continuing education
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail
