Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care through osteopathic techniques, focusing on pain management, injury prevention, and overall wellness. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality treatment in various settings, including hospital and home care environments.

The Osteopath will utilize their expertise in medical terminology, patient care, and clinical procedures to improve patient outcomes and support recovery processes.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and other health concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing osteopathic manipulative medicine techniques
- Manage acute care cases, providing pain management strategies tailored to each patient’s needs
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner
- Assist in data collection for research purposes aimed at improving treatment protocols and patient outcomes
- Administer medications when appropriate, following medical guidelines and protocols
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications,



and home care routines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across departments to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to medical office operations and patient safety

Experience

- Hospital experience or background in acute care settings is highly desirable
- Proven experience in pain management, pediatrics, or home care environments is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, Epic, Cerner, and other electronic health record systems is advantageous
- Prior experience in research or data collection projects related to healthcare is a plus
- Previous roles involving patient care, medication administration, or medical office work will be considered an asset
- Strong understanding of medical procedures related to pain management and musculoskeletal health
