Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and experience in food handling and cashiering.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering questions
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food counter area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies and ensure the counter is well-organized at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales




- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with general kitchen duties as needed during overnight hours

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Solid communication skills and attention to detail for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service excellence

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
