The team focuses on a wide range of needs, from fine motor skills such as printing to emotional regulation and feeding challenges. We are a small, supportive, close-knit team, constantly learning and growing together!

Role Description

This opportunity is for a part-time independent contractor to support our clinic. We are looking for an occupational therapist with a minimum of 2 days per week availability, with potential for additional hours if desired. Hours are flexible; however, we ask for at least one after-school and one weekend availability.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-informed interventions tailored to each child’s needs. The therapist will collaborate closely with families to establish goals, provide education and home program recommendations, and maintain clear, timely documentation of sessions and progress.

Qualifications The successful candidate will ideally be a passionate paediatric OT with an established knowledge-base in paediatric best practices.



They will work collaboratively with families to establish individualized OT goals and treatment plans, delivered whilst providing an exceptional client experience. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills.

- Demonstrated experience and strong interest in paediatric practice, including assessment and intervention for fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and play-based activities.
- Solid skills in family-centered care, including collaborative goal setting, caregiver coaching, and culturally sensitive communication with children and families.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, track progress, and maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and coordinate with educators and other professionals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, use of evidence-informed practice, and creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children of all backgrounds and abilities.
- License with College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario is required
