We are seeking a agile and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our vibrant construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential homes to commercial and industrial sites, transforming spaces with expert craftsmanship. As a key member of our team, you will bring surfaces to life through precise painting, finishing, and decorative techniques, ensuring high-quality results that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting and decorating plans
- Perform restoration work on existing surfaces, including stripping old paint and repairing damaged areas for a seamless finish
- Use rigging techniques and carpentry skills when necessary to access hard-to-reach areas or install decorative elements
- Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers,



and team members to ensure project timelines are met and client specifications are fulfilled

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on painting, decorating, or finishing work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques, including preparation, application methods, and finishing touches
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience in restoration projects or industrial painting is highly desirable
- Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns; as well as power tools like sanders and spray guns
- Familiarity with rigging procedures and carpentry basics for accessing elevated or confined spaces
- Excellent communication skills paired with strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
