Part-Time Barista / Experience Host — Mystik Café (Kensington Market)

Mystik is Canada's first reptile café - an immersive space in Kensington Market blending specialty coffee, handcrafted desserts, and a curated jungle of over 60 reptiles and amphibians. We're hiring a barista who can hold their own behind the espresso machine and engage guests with confidence as they step into our Reptile Jungle Experience.

The Role

This is a hybrid position. Half your day is behind the bar pulling espresso, dialing in coffee, and crafting our signature drinks. The other half is front-facing - welcoming guests, running quick info sessions before their Jungle experience, and answering questions with warmth and clarity.

You should have:

- Minimum 6 months of experience on a semi-automatic espresso machine
- Confidence dialing in coffee, steaming milk, and executing classic drinks consistently
- A calm,



engaging presence — you're comfortable talking to strangers and can carry a room
- Robust multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Consistent weekend and holiday availability
