We're looking for a skilled and organized Payroll Administrator to become part of our Group Office team. In this role, you'll manage payroll for a portfolio of dealership locations, provide exceptional support to employees, and ensure payroll processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable legislation.

As our Payroll Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on schedule for assigned dealership locations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Processing bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees

Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and updating payroll information as required

Calculating earnings, overtime, statutory deductions, taxable benefits, and other payroll adjustments

Reconciling payroll accounts and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting activities





Ensuring payroll practices comply with applicable federal and provincial legislation, tax requirements, and internal policies

Preparing and issuing Records of Employment (ROEs)

Completing payroll documentation, including CPT30 elections, T2200 declarations, and other required forms

Processing payroll-related ICBC and Workers' Compensation documentation

Supporting internal and external payroll audits while identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes

Responding promptly and professionally to employee payroll questions and concerns

Working closely with Human Resources and Finance to support payroll-related activities

Safeguarding confidential employee and company information at all times What You'll Bring The ideal candidate combines technical payroll expertise with strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications include: Minimum two years of experience managing full-cycle payroll

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation with NPI is required

Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, particularly in British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Knowledge of general ledger accounting and payroll journal entries

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and numerical aptitude

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities





Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Professional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Preferred Qualifications The following experience would be considered an asset: Payroll experience within the automotive industry

Experience processing payroll for multiple provinces or multiple business locations
