Reporting to the Plating & Processing Supervisor, the Process Technician - E-Nickel will be involved in the electroless nickel plating of aircraft components.

Work Shift: Weekend Nights (Friday-Sunday) 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

What You Will Do

- Electroless nickel plating of aircraft components, including preparation of components, to customer specifications and development of work techniques.
- Part fixturing, masking and lacquering.
- Loading and unloading tanks.
- Tank/chemistry, associated tooling and PM maintenance.
- Act as a cross functional team member and support various processes as requested.
- Participate in lean initiatives (i.e. 5S, TPM, process improvement teams).
- Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts.
- Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Use overhead cranes to move parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma, with a minimum of 1-3 years of previous process chemistry background.
- Prior plating experience would be an asset.
- Sound working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers,



dial bore gauges and Elco meters.
- The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP.
- We Prefer Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and work with various hand tools.
- Strong understanding of WHMIS.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 61,334 CAD – 81,003 CAD.
