Wash Dudes Exterior Services is hiring an experienced Permanent LED Lighting Installer / Crew Lead for our upcoming Q4 season.

This position is intended to start in October and run through January, with our busiest period occurring during the fall and holiday lighting season. We are recruiting early to find the right person to take a leadership role on our permanent LED lighting installation crew.

The Role

As our Lead Permanent LED Lighting Installer, you’ll be responsible for leading residential permanent lighting installations from start to finish. You’ll work with and direct other crew members while ensuring every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone who already has hands-on experience installing permanent LED lighting systems and is comfortable taking responsibility for the job site and crew.

Responsibilities

- Lead residential permanent LED lighting installations
- Install permanent LED lighting systems professionally and efficiently
- Plan and execute clean wire and track routing
- Work safely from ladders and at heights
- Direct and support installation crew members
- Troubleshoot lighting, wiring, controller, and installation issues
- Ensure installations meet Wash Dudes quality standards
- Maintain an organized and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with customers when required
- Take responsibility for completing jobs correctly and on schedule

Requirements




- Previous permanent LED lighting installation experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence is REQUIRED
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
- Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Solid attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to lead a crew and keep installations moving efficiently
- Comfortable troubleshooting problems in the field
- Professional attitude around customers and their homes

Assets
- Experience operating an Aerial Work Platform (AWP), boom lift, or similar equipment is an asset, but not required
- Previous crew lead or supervisory experience
- Exterior home-service, construction, roofing, electrical, or similar trade experience

Schedule This is a Q4-focused position running approximately October through January.

Hours may vary depending on installation volume, weather, and the time of season. Candidates should have strong availability during our busiest installation months.

Who We're Looking For

This is not an entry-level permanent lighting position.

We are looking for someone who has installed permanent LED lighting before and is ready to take ownership of installations and help lead a crew.
