Join our small team as a Pet Groomer, where your passion for animals and flair for grooming come together to create happy, healthy pets and satisfied pet owners. In our 1-on-1 salon, you'll provide professional grooming services that enhance each pet’s appearance and well-being, ensuring a positive experience for every furry client.

Responsibilities

- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and styling tailored to each pet’s breed and individual needs
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by handling them gently and securely
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming area by sanitizing tools and equipment regularly
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and provide recommendations for ongoing grooming care
- Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier pets safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to prevent the spread of infections or injuries
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, concerns, and feedback with enthusiasm and professionalism





Experience

- Previous experience working as a pet groomer or in a related animal care role is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for motivated candidates
- Strong understanding of different coat types, breeds, and grooming techniques
- Ability to handle pets gently yet confidently, ensuring a stress-free experience for animals of all temperaments
- Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners and team members effectively
- Be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift heavy pets safely
- Customer service skills that foster trust and build lasting relationships with clients
