Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy – Powell River, British Columbia The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Powell River is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Pharmacy Manager to lead our community pharmacy team.

We are an independently operated pharmacy committed to personalized care, strong patient relationships, medication optimization, compounding, and evidence-informed natural and orthomolecular health solutions. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who values professional autonomy and wants to make a meaningful difference in a close-knit community.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe, accurate, and compassionate pharmacy services.
- Oversee daily dispensary operations, workflow, staffing, and inventory.
- Serve as the pharmacist-in-charge and maintain compliance with all applicable qualified and regulatory standards.
- Supervise, train, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants.
- Conduct medication reviews and provide patient counselling.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop clinical and professional pharmacy services that meet community needs.
- Maintain high standards for patient safety, documentation, privacy, and quality assurance.
- Support the pharmacy’s operational and financial performance.
- Help foster a respectful, positive, and accountable workplace culture.

Qualifications
- Licensed, or eligible for licensure,



as a pharmacist in British Columbia.
- In good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Previous community pharmacy experience.
- Pharmacy management or leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- A patient-centred approach and commitment to professional excellence.
- Interest or experience in compounding, medication reviews, chronic disease management, or orthomolecular care would be an asset.

Schedule Full-time: approximately 40 hours per week
