Company Description AMS Medical & Rehabilitation Centre operates multidisciplinary clinics staffed by registered physicians, physiotherapists, massage therapists, occupational therapists, osteopaths, acupuncturists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals. The centre uses a collaborative “team” approach to provide coordinated, high-quality rehabilitation and medical care. AMS serves private patients and works with a variety of insurance providers, making services accessible to diverse client populations.
The clinic is CNESST and SAAQ certified, offering specialized treatment for work-related and motor vehicle accident recovery. Team members benefit from an environment focused on professional cooperation and evidence-based practice.
Role Description The Physiotherapist and T.phys. will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions in an interdisciplinary clinical setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting physical evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, and monitoring progress to adjust interventions as needed. The role involves close collaboration with physicians and other rehabilitation professionals, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and educating patients on injury prevention,
functional recovery, and home exercise programs.
The Physiotherapist and T.phys. will also participate in coordinating care for patients referred through insurance, CNESST, and SAAQ programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the AMS Medical & Rehabilitation Centre in Côte-des-Neiges, QC.
Qualifications
Licensed or eligible for licensure with OPPQ.
Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other health professionals.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills for patient education, counseling, and maintaining professional relationships.
Competence in clinical documentation, record-keeping, and use of clinic management or electronic medical record systems.
Experience with work-related and motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, including CSST and SAAQ processes, is an asset.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and maintaining professional certifications and training.
Comfort working in a diverse, inclusive environment; additional language skills beyond English and French are considered an advantage.
