Physiotherapist Assistant/kinesiologist

Duties

- Assist physiotherapists in implementing prescribed therapeutic exercises and treatment plans for patients.

- Provide hands-on support and guidance to patients during therapy sessions to ensure proper technique and safety.

- Help patients with mobility exercises, stretching, and other therapeutic activities as directed by the physiotherapist.

- Observe and monitor patients' progress during therapy sessions, noting any changes or improvements.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment progress notes and documentation of exercises performed.

- Support administrative tasks, such as appointment scheduling, record keeping, and billing-related activities.

Qualifications

- Candidate should be able to speak Fluent English.





- Completion of the combined Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant / kinesiologist diploma from a recognized college, required

- Proven experience as a Physiotherapist Assistant or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is advantageous.

- Proficiency in using basic computer applications for record-keeping and documentation.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
