About Us
Speed Training Lab + High Performance Centre® is a sports performance and rehabilitation facility in Vaughan, Ontario, home to Move Better Physiotherapy + Rehabilitation Centre®. We work with everyone from elite and collegiate athletes to weekend warriors and everyday clients looking to move and feel better. Our approach blends science-based training methodology, developed under the guidance of our founder Dr. Richard Bucciarelli, PhD, with hands-on clinical care — all under one roof.
As part of our clinic team, you'll work alongside physiotherapists, massage therapists, fitness coaches and kinesiologists, with direct access to our on-site performance lab, coaching staff, and testing equipment — giving you a uniquely collaborative environment to treat and rehab clients.
About the Role
We're looking for a part-time Registered Physiotherapist to join Move Better Physiotherapy + Rehabilitation Centre®. This is a great opportunity for a new grad looking to build a caseload in a sports-focused, multidisciplinary clinic with solid mentorship — and equally a great fit for an experienced physiotherapist, especially one with a background in sports physiotherapy, looking to join a high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify the root cause of pain, injury, or movement limitations
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for a mixed caseload of athletes and general clients
- Support recovery from sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, spinal injuries, and motor vehicle accident (MVA) injuries
- Educate clients on their condition, treatment plan, and long-term injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with our on-site massage therapists, chiropractors, chiropodists,
kinesiologists, and performance coaches to support full client recovery and return-to-sport/return-to-activity goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including MVA/HCAI treatment plans and invoicing where applicable
- Stay current with evidence-based practice and contribute to a culture of ongoing learning within the clinic
Qualifications
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Professional liability insurance through your regulatory body (or willingness to obtain)
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply; candidates with more extensive clinical experience, particularly in sports physiotherapy, are equally encouraged to apply
- Strong interest in sports rehabilitation, orthopedics, and working with an athletic population is an asset
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinic environment
- What We Offer
- A collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic environment within an established sports performance facility
- Access to on-site sport science resources, testing, and coaching staff
- Mentorship and support for new graduates building their clinical caseload
- Flexible part-time scheduling
- Opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from competitive and professional athletes to everyday individuals
