Pizza Maker / Cook

We are a new local pizza and catering business in Windsor, Ontario, looking for a reliable and motivated Pizza Makers / Cooks to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in great food, and wants to be part of a supportive team from the ground up.

Position Summary The Pizza Makers / Cooks will assist with preparing high-quality pizzas, menu items, catering orders, and daily kitchen prep. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy food service environment. Experience with hand-tossed pizza dough is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

- Prepare pizzas, toppings, sauces, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Stretch, top, and cook pizzas efficiently and consistently.
- Assist with catering preparation and order assembly as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected kitchen workspace.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Support team members during busy service periods.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties.
- Provide reliable attendance and a positive attitude in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

- Previous kitchen,



pizza-making, cooking, or food preparation experience is preferred.
- Experience with hand-tossed pizza is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Robust attention to cleanliness, food safety, and organization.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies as required.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
