Job Overview:

Pizza Bianca and Café is seeking a energetic, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pizza Maker/Pizzaiolo specialized in hand stretched pizza (Neapolitan & New York Style). This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about pizza and food preparation, with an eye for sanitation and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen, communicate well with teammates, and care about food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

As being one of our Pizza Bianca and Café team, you will bring enthusiasm and precision to every pizza you create, ensuring each customer receives a memorable experience. Your expertise in food industry practices will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and customer service.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Duties:

- Prepare pizza dough by hand stretching, ensuring consistent quality for each pizza.
- Assemble pizzas with fresh ingredients, following established recipes and portioning guidelines
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, maintain cleanliness & sanitation of workstations and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Keep preparation areas, coolers, shelves, and storage areas organized

· Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ingredient replenishment

· Assist with opening and closing duties

Requirements:





- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Experience in Hand Stretch Pizza making (at least 1 year) preferred
- Ability to perform basic math for portioning and inventory tasks accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- FOODSAFE Level 1 is preferred, or willingness to obtain one, but not required
- Ability to lift to 50lb
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to communicate in English
