Position

-Wood-Fired Pizza and Salad Chef

- Hours are likely to be 2-9pm Sunday-Tuesday

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute a variety of wood-fired pizzas with precision and creativity.
- Prepare and execute a variety of fresh salads in a consistent manner.
- Manage the entire pizza-making process, including dough preparation, topping selection, and baking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station to uphold our high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and effective service during peak hours.
- Innovate and contribute to the development of new pizza recipes and specials.

Requirements




- Proven experience as a Wood-Fired Pizza Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of different pizza doughs, sauces, and toppings.
- Ability to operate and maintain wood-fired pizza ovens.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive demeanour.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to arrive to work on time (position is in West Vancouver, must live locally)
