Additive Metal Manufacturing Inc has a vacancy for a Full Time Process Engineer/Technician at its facility in Concord, Ontario. This is an opportunity to grow and develop your expertise in this exciting industry leading manufacturing technology.
As a Junior Process Engineer/Technician you will support our engineering team and work with clients on projects to develop solutions for their applications.
Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Assist with the operation of metal 3D printing equipment
- Assist with the preventive maintenance of metal 3D printing equipment
- Assist with the preventive maintenance and scheduled inspection of the facility equipment
- Prepare and review CAD files and build files
- Preparation of the machine before printing
- Post process (Removing supports of parts via general hand tools and bead blasting) printed parts
- Record keeping of all the manufacturing data, inventory, sub-contracting etc.
- Final quality inspection of parts prior to shipping
- Shipping and receiving of parts and supplies
- Provide feedback and manage Corrective Action Reports to continuously improve the process
- Assist in final review of all builds
- Assist the team with Quotes on projects
- Assist the team with Quality inspection
- Other duties as allocated
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED · College Diploma or University degree in Mechanical Engineering
· Experience with maintenance of EOS printer, Chiller, Wet Separator, Compressor, Downdraft table, and Bead Blaster
· Experience with Fusion360, Magics, EOS software, and Microsoft Office
· A positive candidate will be able to read GD&T; drawings having experience with tolerances and surface requirements
· Exposure to DMLS (3D Metal Printing) and experience with part orientation, support design etc.
· At least one year in a final quality inspection position in manufacturing
· An overall Industry Knowledge including metallurgy
· Experience with machining and hand polishing
· Solid interpersonal and communication skills in English
· Good organizational, time management and presentation skills
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Have a team-based attitude and an open mind
