Our client, an exciting Technology venture studio located downtown is looking for a product designer who can move quickly from 0 to 1, turn ambiguous ideas into clear product experiences, and work closely with engineers to bring those experiences to life. This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, AI-native, and excited to design new ways for people to interact with AI.
Responsibilties

- Own the design process through ambiguity, from early problem framing and workflow definition to polished product experiences
- Turn founder ideas, customer needs, and technical capabilities into intuitive product flows
- Rapidly prototype ideas using tools such as Claude Design, Claude Code, Figma, and other AI-based design tools
- Work closely with software engineers in agile development teams to move from design to implementation
- Create transparent specs, flows, prototypes, and interaction details, and support engineers through implementation
- Conduct focused user research, usability testing, and customer discovery to deeply understand user needs and validate product decisions
- Help define reusable patterns for AI products, including copilots, agents, dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience across web and/or mobile products
- Strong portfolio showing thoughtful, polished, user-centered design
- Experience taking products from 0 to 1, ideally in a startup, venture studio, or fast-moving product environment
- Strong comfort with traditional design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as emerging AI-based rapid design and prototyping tools such as Claude Design and Claude Code
- Experience working closely with software engineers in agile development teams
- Strong interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with comfort working through ambiguity, speed, iteration, and changing priorities
- Curiosity about AI, human-computer interaction, and emerging product patterns
- Experience designing AI-powered products is a definite asset
- Experience creating functional prototypes, not just static mockups is an asset
- Familiarity with copilots, agents, prompt-driven workflows, or human-in-the-loop systems
- Experience designing enterprise or B2B SaaS products
- Startup, venture studio, or 0 to 1 product experience
- Prototyping in code or working with AI coding tools
