Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for monitoring and assessing the Wellness Centre program and service quality to promote a health addiction-free lifestyleEnhance the well-being of communities by providing holistic (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) counselling in the area of prevention, treatment and aftercareDirect day-to-day management of all Wellness Centre programs, services, including oversight of 60+ employees and day-to-day facility operationsSet program strategy in alignment with organizational objectives and accreditation standardsOwn the program budget: planning, management, and reporting (> $2M)Oversee Addictions Management Information System (AMIS) reportingPrepare and deliver quarterly and annual reports to the Board of DirectorsDirect delivery of holistic (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) counselling across prevention, treatment, and aftercareDevelop and maintain operational and program policy and procedures manualsDevelop and enhance service delivery models in consultation with ISC, FNIHB,



and SHADevelopment and implementation of:Annual Reports; andQuarterly ReportsOversee and provide direction and support to the Nurse Practitioner and nursing staff on client health care needsServe as senior executive liaison to the Board of Directors and community/partner agenciesRequirementsUndergraduate degree in Addictions or Health related field; Certified by a recognized Canadian alcohol and drug certification bodyMinimum five (5) years experience in a senior Leadership roleExperience in administration and addictions fields and counselling programsKnowledge and understanding of the links between addictions treatment and health issues at the First Nations community levelExperience working with budget maintenance and reporting in excess of $2MExperience in facilitating groups, public speaking, presentations; and writing reportsAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Office #J-18808-Ljbffr
