Seasonal Snow Plow Driver (On-Call)

Davey Auto Sales is seeking a reliable and experienced Seasonal Snow Plow Driver to maintain our dealership property throughout the winter season.

This position is ideal for someone looking for guaranteed monthly income while being available to respond whenever snowfall requires.

Contract Term

November 15 through April 15

Compensation
$2,000 monthly retainer for remaining on-call throughout the winter season
$30.00 per hour while operating the plow truck
All equipment provided

Responsibilities
Remain available on-call throughout the winter season
Respond promptly to snowfall events, including overnight, early morning, weekends, and holidays when required
Operate company plow truck safely and efficiently
Clear dealership parking lots, drive lanes, and customer walkways as assigned
Apply salt or ice melt when required
Complete snow removal before business hours whenever possible
Report any equipment issues immediately
Maintain a skilled and safety-first attitude while working





Requirements
Previous snow plowing experience is required
Valid Ontario G Class driver's licence with a clean driving record
Comfortable driving in severe winter weather
Reliable transportation to and from the dealership
Dependable and able to respond with short notice
Willing to work overnight or early morning hours during snow events
