Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Excavator Mulcher Operator to join our heavy equipment team. In this role, you will operate specialized excavators equipped with mulching attachments to clear land, manage vegetation, and prepare sites for construction or environmental projects. Your expertise will help drive efficient project completion while maintaining safety and operational excellence. Duties
Operate excavators with mulching attachments to efficiently explicit brush, trees, and debris from designated areas.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute land clearing plans accurately and on schedule.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to site safety procedures.
Assist with other heavy equipment operations such as dozer, loader, backhoe, grader, or paving machinery as needed.
Maintain detailed logs of work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during operations.




Support environmental conservation efforts by ensuring proper handling of vegetation and debris disposal.

Qualifications
Proven experience operating excavators, particularly with mulching attachments, in construction or land clearing projects.
Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including dozer, loader, backhoe, grader, and paving machinery.
Ability to operate additional machinery such as horizontal drills or caterpillar equipment is a plus.
Solid understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment between sites.
Basic knowledge of construction processes and site management techniques.
Experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of heavy machinery.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
