General Manager

The Coffee Mill | Fredericton, NB

The Coffee Mill is looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of Fredericton's busiest cafés and restaurants. We're looking for a robust leader who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations.
Lead, coach, and support both front and back-of-house teams.
Manage scheduling, payroll, labour costs, and staffing levels.
Recruit, train, onboard, and mentor employees.
Balance daily cash, complete deposits, and maintain operational reporting.
Monitor inventory, ordering, food costs, and fridge/storage organization.
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and company procedures are consistently followed.
Work closely with senior management to improve operations and achieve business goals.
Handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.




Foster a positive, accountable workplace culture.

Qualifications
Previous restaurant or café management experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with scheduling, payroll, and labour management.
Ability to multitask and make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
