Knelsen Sand & Gravel Ltd. is a leading road construction company providing premier services throughout Alberta. We are currently seeking a Crew Labourer to join our Grande Prairie Paving Crew for the upcoming road construction season.

Position Overview

As a Paving Crew Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting road construction operations and ensuring projects run safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and contributing to large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities:
Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general construction activities.
Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
Provide traffic control and assist with jobsite safety.
Perform general manual labour duties as required.
Support equipment operators and crew members to keep work progressing smoothly.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite at all times.

General Qualifications:
Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to and from the worksite and operate company vehicles.




Positive physical condition and stamina; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Solid hand-eye coordination and ability to perform manual tasks efficiently.
Ability to lead by example and follow all safety policies and requirements.
This is a safety-sensitive position; pre-employment drug screening is required.
