Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes and standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep stations
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service expectations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours




Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and sanitation standards

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is a plus but not mandatory
