Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a robust understanding of food safety standards, excellent food preparation skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will contribute to delivering high-quality meals that satisfy our guests and uphold our restaurant’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety




Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen workplace preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food service industry

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
