Position Summary:
The Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer or production orders in a timely manner. This role ensures that all items are picked according to specifications, checked for quality, and staged for shipment or internal use while maintaining safety and efficiency standards in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick items from shelves, bins, or racks according to order sheets.
Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
Prepare picked items for shipping and add missing material to orders sheet.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and ladders.
Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies or damaged goods.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and secure by following company health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or order fulfillment preferred but not required.
Ability to read and follow pick tickets and order sheets.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move packages (up to 50 lbs).




Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Forklift or equipment certification (an asset but not mandatory, training can be provided)

Work Workplace:
Warehouse or distribution center setting.
Exposure to varying temperatures depending on storage requirements.
Requires adherence to company safety standards and PPE policies.
