Program Manager – Full TimeHart Hub Supportive Housing Program

Salary: $64,668- $85,884 Position Description: Reporting to the Regional Director, you will provide strategic and compassionate leadership to Indwell’s programs in operation and development in Sarnia. Rooted in Indwell’s core values of dignity, love, and hope, you will steward the mission by cultivating a well-functioning interdisciplinary team and workplace to foster supportive housing programs for residents who live with complex mental health diagnoses, dual diagnoses, substance use, and / or recent experiences of chronic homelessness. Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Flexibility required to meet program needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and participation in an on-call rotation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: LEAD SELF Model reflective practice, humility, professionalism, and personal growth

Provide leadership during crisis and high-stress situations

Demonstrate values-based leadership aligned with Indwell’s mission and trauma-informed principles ENGAGE OTHERS Recruit, onboard, supervise, and mentor interdisciplinary staff, volunteers, and students

Foster a healthy, compassionate, and goal-driven team culture

Facilitate regular team meetings and maintain consistent communication

Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance planning

Create welcoming, inclusive, trauma-informed environments for residents and staff

Maintain and engage healthy relationships with functional teams across the Indwell family of companies

Communicate and inform regional leadership of incidents or risks in programs

Engage in organizational collaboration and working groups to support consistent program design and operations





Consult both internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practices and quality assurance measures are being met ACHIEVE RESULTS Ensure compliance with legislation, accreditation standards, Residential Tenancies Act/Landlord Tenant Board guidelines, and organizational policies

Oversee tenancy processes, rent collection, occupancy tracking, and financial documentation

Lead quality improvement initiatives, audits, incident debriefs, and service delivery standards

Ensure accurate reporting, data integrity, and program accountability

Ensure case management and service planning principles and practices are well established, with regular review of metrics

Develop and monitor program level workplans to ensure alignment with organizational strategic plan DEVELOP COALITIONS Build and strengthen partnerships with municipal, health, and community organizations

Collaborate with the homelessness and housing system within the City of Sarnia and County of Lambton, in addition to other external service providers

Represent Indwell at community tables, committees, and forums

Oversee wraparound care coordination and integrated service planning

Encourage staff participation in partnerships and community engagement initiatives SYSTEM TRANSFORMATION Embed Indwell’s strategic priorities and mission into program development and operations

Implement evidence-based practices including recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and psychosocial rehabilitation models

Identify systemic gaps through critical incident review and continuous improvement processes

Use organizational and program data to identify emerging trends and guide strategic priorities at the program level

Support asset-based community development and long-term housing stability outcomes

Contribute to the advancement of supportive housing practices within the broader system of care WHAT YOU WILL BE BRING: Post-secondary education in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related discipline A minimum of three years of leadership experience in a social service, health care, or housing-related context

Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) with the information therein acceptable by Indwell to meet the operational requirements of the program- at one’s own cost

Current Standard First Aid & CPR Certification from an approved provider that meets Ontario provincial standards or willingness to register for the training within 30 days of employment-reimbursement by Indwell
