Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry and transaction recording
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or accurate financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements
Proven experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or finance roles
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
Knowledge of account reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting processes
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and management
Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
