Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Morning Baker/Counter Set Up team member to join our neighbourhood bakery. The candidate will be responsible for preparing baked goods, setting up the counter for daily operations. This is for a permanent p/t position 18-30h/week.

Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including large batches of cupcakes, scones, cinnamon buns, choux pastry, croissant dough while adhering to quality standards.
Decorating cupcakes
Ensure all food items are prepared following food safety and handling guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including kitchen stations, fridges and freezers.
Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift to ensure smooth operation.
Follow proper food handling procedures during packaging and presentation of baked goods.

Qualifications
Previous experience in cake decorating, baking,



or food preparation is required.
Experience working in a restaurant or food service workplace is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced workplace during morning hours.
Attention to detail in decorating and presentation of baked goods.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies up to 20kg.

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
