Our key client in the Legal industry is looking for additional members to their team. We have a Bilingual Claims Contract Attorney role on the team.

Pay Rate: $60.00/hour T4

Work Type: Remote - Quebec/Ontario

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM based off local time zone

Training Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EDT for first week

Duration: 6-month contract (with possible extension)

Position Summary:

We are seeking attorneys to support product liability class action litigation and mass tort matters. This is not an eDiscovery document review role. Attorneys will serve as key members of the project team and handle claimant and counsel communications, claim analysis, and related legal support activities.

Job Responsibilities:
Analyzing claim documents
Preparing detailed responses to sometimes complex written inquiries of claimants and counsel.
Fielding sometimes complex telephone inquiries from claimants and counsel.
Receiving training, direction and oversight from project directors, project managers, project coordinators, and/or other project team members.
"Best-in-class” customer service is expected to be provided to both internal and external clients.

Qualifications:
JD from accredited law school (foreign law degree may suffice)
Active law license in at least one Canadian jurisdiction
Litigation experience preferred
Class action and/or mass tort experience is a plus

Versatile and customer-service oriented
Bilingual English/French required
