Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, caring and motivated RPN/RN to join or busy family practice working Mondays and Tuesdays with occasional coverage as well as extra hours during flu vaccine clinics, starting late October through to early December.
Responsibilities
Ordering of vaccines and medical supplies
Baby wellness checks including administrating vaccines
Vaccine administration
Informing patients of test results
Supporting physicians with procedures, including: suture removal, ear syringing and other clinical tasks
Communicating with medical representatives in organizing clinic lunch and learns
Requirements
Valid registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the appropriate licensing
Knowledge of medical terminology
Familiarity with EMR
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on dignity and respect for all individuals
Have previously worked in a family practice workplace
