Duties
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly
Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery logs, manifests, and inspection reports
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle performance
Coordinate with dispatch to confirm delivery schedules and routes, ensuring timely arrivals




Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior throughout your shifts

Qualifications
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks
Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate machinery, and perform manual tasks as required
